We expect all students to attend College every day unless they are ill. If your child is unable to come to College for health reasons, it is essential that you telephone the College immediately and provide written confirmation of the illness when he or she returns.
Schools and Colleges are required to identify, record and report all “authorised” and “unauthorised” absence, and there is no automatic entitlement to holidays in term time. Authorisation for family holidays in term time may occasionally be given in very exceptional circumstances, but this should be applied for in advance by writing to the Principal. If attendance is below 95% authorization for holidays is not given
